Sicilian expressions are funny and very strong. So strong that our nordic bad words sounds like a church choir in comparison. I started to be tired of the slow renovation of my bathroom because the fourth day not even the walls were done and I felt bad also for my landlord to pay for slow crew (which is normal here). So on my way to work I just passed the crew and said with a calm voice Questa cosa sta su cazzo! Which means literally that This thing stands on the dick!. It is a strong expression saying that this renovation starts to be a heavy burden. And guess what? Yes, when I came back hours later, the bathroom was done.

It is the same when I fly back to Sicily. I do not need to look for the gate. I just hear where the word Minchia is said out loud and I know it is the gate to Catania. Minchia = Dick!

Minchia = Kuk.
