Sicily has banned the use of ECT as a therapeutic tool in Sicily. The decision ‘was taken after verifying that in the last 3 years 10 cases of reports has been made for the use of electroshock for therapeutic purposes. “It ‘a great choice of civilization”, said the president, “which focuses on Sicily for civil rights and for the protection of the dignity of persons.”
